During daylight hours there is barely any discernable difference between the various types of 3M Reflective materials above. However the image above shows the vast difference between the engineer grade on the left, the high intensity prismatic in the middle and the diamond grade prismatic on the right. The difference is dramatic. The most common choice for public roads and dangerous intersections is clear. 3M Diamond Grade is the winner here.

Feature two 3/8″ top and bottom centered, pre-punched mounting holes and can be easily installed on a post, wall or fence. With standard federal radius corners and 3M™ reflective sheeting. This sign meets MUTCD specifications and is designed to be a durable traffic control solution. Constructed of .080 5052-H38 alodine protected aluminum.
The MUTCD Stop Sign is a standardized sign in the Manual of Uniform Control Devices (MUTCD) with a designation of R1-1.
Used when a full stop is required at an intersection. Please refer to the regulatory road sign size requirements in MUTCD Table 2B-1 to determine stop sign size requirements and MUTCD Tables 2A.1, 2A.2 and 2A.3 for retro reflectivity level requirements for your road and traffic signs use or application.
